Most people don’t understand the importance of email marketing, in fact 90% of all internet marketers don’t use email marketing at all, they will use traffic exchanges and Adwords in order to get traffic to there sites. Traffic exchanges are not that effective in getting good quality visitors that are willing to buy. And Adwords can get you great traffic, but can be to expensive for most people to use.
The reason most people dont use email marketing is that they don’t have the information they need to set it all up and to start building a list. Here is a list of things you need to start building your own list.
First you need an autoresponder, this is a program that will automatically add people to your list and will allow you to automatically send pre-set emails to everyone who signs up.
Secondly you need a product that you can give away in order to get people to sign up for your list. (give away free products and people will sign up)
Thirdly you will need your own website and hosting service, this is so your new signups can sign up for your list and download your free products.
Lastly you need a way to start driving traffic to your new website so people can see your free offer and sign up.

Now there are also programs called safelists, these are programs you can join for a small fee and start emailing people immediately, while you don’t get the same response using safelists as you do using your own email marketing list, you can still get enough traffic to start making sales almost immediatly. Two of the best safelists online today are, MoneyListPro and TargetProBlaster You will need two different email addresses for these programs, I suggest gmail, and you can use the same emails for both programs. This is the best way to start emailing people today about your offers.
And the last thing I would like to share with you is the importance of being able to write emails that will actually get people to open them. First do not use the bait and switch, meaning that in the subject line you write something like:
“Your account has been canceled”
and then when they open your email you are trying to sell them a ebook on dog training, this is considered spam. And Can get you in a lot of trouble.
